- Empower- Recruit digital ambassadors
- Excite- Never underestimate the power of ‘shininess’ and ‘flashiness’!

Up now is Steven O’Leary from Olytico, a Social Media Monitoring and Analysis Firm, will speak on the topic of “Social Media & News reporting”
7 things to consider for Social Media in 2015
- Learn the analytics behind social media instead of the platform itself.
- Define your KPIs before you start posting.
- Don’t expect your customers to come to you, you would not expect this in real life.
- Measure the time being spent on social media. The platform may be free but time is money.
- Go beyond vanity metrics.
- Think quality not quantity. Quality always trumps quantity in social media.
- Remember social media is now a broadcast media, do not use it as one.
