Speaking of the event, OMiG Founder Maricka Burke Keogh said “The Awards night is not just for the shortlisted nominees, it’s for anyone who has an interest in digital marketing whether you are an online expert or a complete novice, a student, business owner or employee in the Galway community who wants to embrace digital marketing and support the efforts of the OMiG Digital Awards”
Both new and established Galway brands will vie it out for the prestigious OMiG Digital Marketing Awards, across several different categories including; Best blog, best social media campaign and the highly sought after people’s choice award. Now in its second year, the awards would not be possible without the partnership of the Local Enterprise Office and Connacht Tribune Group. In addition to Gold Sponsors from Irish Apps and Ireland West Airport Knock, and Silver Sponsors IE Domain Registry Ltd, Eventbrite and Cantec Print Galway.
IE Domain Registry, CEO David Curtin, says;
“IEDR is delighted to be involved with OMiG because they are providing a valuable service for SMEs in the Galway area. As we are aware from our own work with Irish SMEs through the OPTIMISE Fund, identifying the right tools and technologies for individuals and instilling the confidence and know-how to help small business owners take their company forward online is vitally important. OMiG has created a strong network of businesses, volunteers and subject matter experts which will provide participants with invaluable insights into what needs to be done to allow them to market their business online and begin using the Internet as a 24-7 sales channel.”
The event will sell out and early birds tickets are only €8 until Sunday 29th March or €10 after this date, all tickets include the after party at Blakes & Brasserie on the Corner.
